The California Outdoors Hall of Fame recognizes California’s greatest outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen. These are people who have dedicated themselves to advancing the understanding of, appreciation for, and conservation of California’s great outdoors.

Members of the Hall have inspired thousands to take part in the great outdoors and/or conservation, and have taken part in outdoor adventures of paramount impact.

Induction Ceremony

Induction for the Class of 2025 will occur at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Adventure Theater, Bldg. A, International Sportsman’s Exposition at CalExpo in Sacramento.

Anyone may nominate an entrant including entrants, who can nominate themselves. To be eligible, nominations must include a 200 to 250-word biography of the nominated person.
